The multiday race scene in South Africa takes another step forward with the Running Festival Circuits 20 day event that encompasses 1000 mile and 1000 km races along with one of the first 20 day events in the sports long history, 10 and 6 day races and 72/48 and 24 hour events plus shorter races.
Hosted by Eric Wright at the Wychwood Primary school in Germiston, the course is a newly laid concrete and brick loop.
After 6 days Kobi Oren leads the men in the 20 day race with 712 km. Sarah Barnett is leading the women in third place overall with 465 km.
